Day Two

Good morning! What a packed day we have in store today. A visit to the Queseria La Jarradilla first, followed by a visit to Sabaos Joselin all topped off by exploring Santander with our very own tourguide, Mr Crowder!

We’re having a smashing time (well, our Year 9 girls are as they accidentally broke a perfume bottle... if anything, it was an opportunity to practise live role play activities asking ‘Tienes un cepillo’ - do you have a brush!?).
Well done girls!

We’re on way to the cheese and cake factories having a sing along as we go! 🧀
Too gouda to be true! 🧀 the cheese briehind him is currently undergoing the maturing process. Students learnt all about the use of rennet, bacterial growth and fermentation! Excellent GCSE Food links whilst practising their oral Spanish skills!

We had to leave a message and spread the TSA sparkle!

Stopped off for a quick pit stop after a lovely walk around Santander! More pictures to follow!
Question planning for tomorrow’s day out!
Challenging our learners to really stretch themselves in a variety of situations! Miss McAleese (now known as Miss Mac’n’Cheese due to her love of the earlier cheese tasting visit!) is currently the front runner. Miss Quick is hot on her heels due to one of her students using the subjunctive tense (an A-Level skill!!!!)
Well done Molski!
We had a lovely few hours walking through Santander exploring the wonderful sights and visiting the local shops! We even managed to catch a glimpse of the beach as we walked on by with our icecreams!
Overall, an absolutely fantastic day. The students were highly praised by members of staff from a restaurant commenting on how outstanding our students have been and how polite and courteous they were. We could not be prouder of our students!
We are TSA, we are outstanding!

Buenas Noches!
